alright. i know i know. i haven't made a single blog post since mid august or something. but i really couldnt find the time to blog ever since i started studying for my final exams of my poly life. And after that my holiday was so packed with activities to the extent that, i could only spend 2 days at home in a single week and the rest of the days im busy either with outings, cca meetings or camps and chalets.
Talk about having been through one of my most tiring and hectic semesters in school. I guess i can say the same for this holidays. even my mom is complaining about going out almost everyday. but oh well. gotta make full use of the holidays. thats what i tell myself during the start of each holidays.
So now, i wont be making any blog posts for the next 12 days or so. Reason: I won't be in Singapore from 23rd september to 1st october. I will be in china! :) yeaps. i will be going for my long awaited holiday. i've been so desperate to leave the country i told my mum anywhere will do except malaysia(cuz its too near Singapore). i really needed a break after all that's happened this year. so yeah. will be going to hangzhou, shanghai, and a mountain called huangshan. Though im only looking forward to the shanghai part of the trip, i will go to the other 2 parts with an open mind. Don't really know much about them but i hope i will be given a pleasant surprise by what's there. hahhaha.
And as for 2nd & 3rd october, i will be going for yet another chalet. this time its a secondary school class chalet. the title of the chalet(it has one actually), the Long Awaited 2e2 Chalet. hahaha yes, the title is very apt indeed. havent seen my secondary school friends for quite a long time ever since we graduated from sec school. i really hope i wont be too tired when i go for the chalet. since its like back to back right after my china trip.
And after that, its on to the start of my attachment! :) my final semester as a Ngee Ann Polytechnic student. Cant wait to graduate man! LOL! i've kinda gor plans to go on holiday as well for the next holidays before i enter NS. hehehe.
Till then. Cya! i will post photos of my china trip. (apparently im the youngest in the tour group. LOL! the rest are all couples or singles in ther 40s or 50s.)

AMAZINGLY FUCKING LUCKY!
I just experienced one of the most amazing incident in school today. I kinda had my laptop stolen/lost earlier today in school. But i managed to get it back! i gotta thank my lucky stars man! if i had really lost my laptop, i'm gonna be so dead. and today's the last day of school for me. What a day to lose my laptop, right? just before my exams. WTF
anyway here's the full story of what happened:
after my Econs Quiz Test. i went to canteen 3 to have lunch with my friends, donovan and paulina. I put my laptop underneath the table as usual and i just went off to buy my lunch knowing that its rather safe, cuz i've done it before and that i had some friends sitting around there as well.
I came back to find my laptop is still there, so i just continued with my lunch until donovan had to go off and paulina had to go for her DOA Assignment walkthrough. So i went to sit with Ming and his friends Jia Hui and Jocelyn to chat, at the next table. My laptop was still within my sight. and i just continued chatting. We were about to leave, then i wanted to find my laptop. but FUCK! it wasnt there. i searched the entire canteen 3 and even asked the cleaners if they saw it. they said a lecturer took it and he said he was gonna try to gain access to it so that he would know who it belongs to and contact me. But i was thinking. How the fuck is he gonna do that when he doesnt know who's laptop it was, it could belong to anyone!! so i went to make a report at the Student Services Centre and the person told me he will contact me once someone returned the laptop. I was beginning to wonder if the lecturer was a fake one.
So i went to the DOA classroom to rest and chill to wait for the all important phone call. after 2 hours, still no phone call, i was beginning to get even more nervous. So before i went home, i decided to check with the person at the student services centre. still no news, and he even suggested that i make a police report. ZOMG! i dont wanna go through all that trouble. So he called his colleague, who was the head of lost/stolen items investigation to come down to help. i told the investigation guy everything i know. He asked me to bring him to canteen 3 to ask the cleaners for description of the alleged lecturer. Luckily the cleaners were still there. and they gave a rather vague description of the lecturer.
The investigation guy then told me to go home first and come back tomorrow to camp at canteen 3 to identify the lecturer together with the cleaners. LOL! sounds exciting huh!? well i found it abit ridiculous, but being quite desperate i just agreed.
Before going home, i stopped by at cheers with Ming and paulina, who were kind enough to stay with me throughout the ordeal. Then i received a call from the guy, and he told me he found my laptop already! WHAT!! SO FAST!!! i barely stepped out of the school man. so i just went over to blk 34 to find him. true enough he had my laptop. I asked him what happened actually. he said the lecturer actually took my laptop to Blk 34 and attempted to gain access to it to contact me. They even had a slip of paper which had my student details with my photograph and everything. but they did not have my phone number and they were getting ready to contact my mentor about it.
I was wondering how they managed to gain access to my laptop, but they said they had their ways and i didn't have to know. Fine then. as long as i have my laptop back in my arms, i didn't give a shit to other stuffs.
Ming said i just had a CUA SAI! (means something like a hair raising experience) day. oh well i agreed with him totally.
I really gotta be thankful to the lecturer and the investigation guy and everyone involved in helping me.
So i learnt a lesson, which im sure everyone knows what it is already. That is to take extra care of your own personal belongings and never leave them out of your sight because you never know, the minute u leave them out of your sight. They will just disappear into thin air, and not everyone is so lucky to have their laptops taken by good willed lecturers.
Imagine if i had really lost my laptop, i would have to get tutorial answers from my friends to study for the exams. And i have to waste money to buy a new laptop. !
Ming and paulina asked me why i appeared so calm even when i couldnt find my laptop. Truth is, i was amazed by my own calmness. It could have been because i was in a state of shock. But one thing i was certain was that i knew panicking and cursing and swearing wouldn't help things or make my laptop appear in front of me. So instead i just tried to be calm and think of what to do to salvage the situation(if you could say that). I guess i've been more rational in my thinking after this incident.
They were expecting me to say words like FUCK! KNN! NBCB! CCB! and kao bei like nobody's business. but nah. not my style. though i was on the verge of doing that.
if it was the old me, i would definitely have done that!
not now :)
phew! finally done with this super long post! hope the story has been an interesting one! :) enjoy reading about my misery and stupidity! LOL!

Treasuring The Days
As i look at my calendar, i can't help but think about what i'm gonna do once i graduate from NP. its August now, and i have effectively less than a month left in NP, because the next semester i will be having my Internship Project/Attachment at KPMG. So i won't be able to go back to NP as often as i would like.
So it really set me thinking. Where shall i go from here? Which university do i want to go(hopefully my marks allow me to)? One thing's for sure, i won't be doing another IT course. Its gonna kill me more than it already is now. And i might just be hoping to get into SMU's school of economics. I'm suddenly interested in economics. i don't know why. but my lecturer sucks though. he can't teach for nuts.the lecture slides are better than him LOL.
But i guess, i really gotta treasure the days that i have left as an NP student. I may be grumbling about school life and all but actually, deep down, im starting to miss everything about NP already. i will definitely miss studying at E-Square and doing my projects there. Or chilling out at the atrium and outside Cheers. Will miss the food definitely and a whole lot more. I will type out the entire list when i actually graduate. For now, i'll just make the most of my time left :)

26-7-2009 One of the best days of my life!
Yes it is! i just experienced one of the best days of my life. like i mentioned in my previous post. i went to the national stadium yesterday to watch Liverpool's pre-season friendly against Singapore with Haikel.
Before that, i had lunch at Pizza Hut with 3 of my secondary school friends Qiu Lyng, Lai Ying and Jasmine. Haven't seen them for a long time, so i was very glad to see them and talk to them. It was reminiscent of the times in secondary school where we would go to the nearby pizza hut near westmall to have our lunch almost every week. LOL!
Then me and haikel headed off to the national stadium.
It was just plain awesome! we were singing Liverpool songs and chants before the match! Singing you'll never walk alone and the Torres Song. It felt as though i was really in Anfield in Liverpool,England. This is the closest i can ever get to experiencing what Anfield feels like on a Matchday.
There were some interesting incidents before the match. A Man Utd fan was spotted wearing a Man Utd jersey with the words: OWEN 7 on his back, and he was walking up towards the East Stand where Singapore's most fanatical Liverpool Fans were Seating.
The reaction is of no surprise. He got BOO-ed like there was no tomorrow. All of us were shouting, MAN U SUCKS! MAN U SUCKS! MAN U SUCKS! he was still putting on a brave face i think. couldnt really see him clearly. and before that another crazy fan was wearing a chelsea jersey. She got boo-ed as well.
And even way before all that happened. Everyone in the stadium were making a parody of the popular Man United song. Glory Glory Glory Man united. But this time we changed it to. WHO THE FUCK ARE MAN UNITED? WHO THE FUCK ARE MAN UNITED? oh well. Liverpool Fans really don't like Manchester United. So don't blame us for making up such songs. It's all a part of Football Banter. At the end of the day. we are all football fans :)
Needless to say, my favourite part of the day was the match itself. I've never seen the Liverpool players live in front of my eyes before until yesterday. And i was star strucked when i saw the players. They totally owned Singapore. Felt bad for Singapore. The entire stadium was supporting Liverpool instead of them. But it's just a friendly, so its okay i guess. I'm sure the national team knows how we feel.
And when Fernando Torres came on, i was shouting like mad! And it got even more crazier when he scored liverpool's 4th goal! everyone was absolutely mad! Shouting Torre's name with voices so loud it could blow off the roof of the stadium if it had one.
At the end of the day, i told myself that the $88 i spent on the ticket and the $15 i spent on the Scarf, was all worth it! I may have to wait for another 8 years or even longer for them to come to Singapore again! When that time comes, i hope to be able to get seats which has a greater view than this year :) hahaha
Till then, i just gotta wish the team luck for its remaining pre-season friendlies and ahead of the new season! I hope this victory would be the spark for the team to go on and win the Barclays Premier League Title 09/10. !
C'mon you reds! C'mon Gerrard! C'mon Torres!

Liverpool! Liverpool!
ZOMG! Cant wait for the match tonight. Will be going to the national stadium with haikel to watch Singapore take on Liverpool FC. This is gonna be my firs time watching liverpool fc play live football in front of my eyes. I've been watching their matches but i know from experience. It is an entirely different feeling when you actually go to the stadium to watch them play! I'm torn between 2 sides really. One is my country, which im very proud of and the other, my favourite team! in this case, you might say the best result would be a draw, but im hoping for a liverpool win. They haven't won a single game on their current pre-season program so they really need a win to start up their engines and prepare for a long season ahead. :) Don't blame me for not being patriotic, its just a friendly match. so yeah! no need to get too serious over it. :)
HAHA! alright. im going off. I really hope Fernando Torres Scores tonight. Hat-Trick would be nice!

On a lighter note..
Woah it's been a week since i last updated. Guess i'm really very busy with my school work. Year 3 is such a killer year! Assignments are coming in so thick so fast you hardly have time to breathe. Oh well, i've gotta press on! 1 month plus. and its the holidays! :) can't wait. HAHA!
Anyway i've recently came across an interesting post on a very ermm..juicy website?, its url is www.jialat.com. It's damn interesting and funny sometimes. It shows people around the world doing stupid things which you would never thought of and interesting incidents and sightings. Here's One

It's actually an ultrasound image of a baby in a mother's womb. And the baby is actually showing the V-Sign! Have you ever seen that before! Usually when you take a look at ultrasound images, you can hardly make out the shape of the baby. But this! HAHA. Well if you wanna read more, here's the link

Fucking Frustrated!
i had my napfa test today! and i am not happy with it all. Felt so fucking frustrated at myself. my results were so mediocre. i guess i can only blame it on myself for not putting in enough effort to train. This should not be happening!! I've had enough of under achieving! Enough!
Alright! i gotta start to train up for my next NAPFA test which i dont know when! Today's test was actually just a rough gauge for the guys. its not really the real thing! so today's result doesnt count at all. which was what was told to us at the start of the session.
Training session. anyone? and i wanna play some footie soon. my legs are getting itchy!

Autobots! Roll out!
I've Finally managed to catch the movie, Transformers: Revenge of the fallen! Watched it yesterday with Syafiq,Yingjia, wenting, hafiz, shujuan and mirza. Was supposed to be a catch up session for everyone. but syafiq and hafiz couldnt make it for dinner. It was a short but great outing nonetheless.
Managed to see syafiq like for god knows how long. hahaha he looks fitter man! hopefully when i go for my NS next year. i can be even fitter than i am now!
Anyways. the movie was indeed very action packed. Explosions were like Boom! Boom! Boom! for 3/4 of the movie i think. But i love the battle scenes between the Autobots and Decepticons.
But there was one question which was bugging me at the end. How did the autobots become so powerful all of a sudden. They were like owning the decepticons at every battle. Even the forest battle where Optimus Prime took on 3 Decepticons. He was actually winning! instead of being overwhelmed by the 3 decepticons.
But i guess for Optimus, he's the only one who can do that. Cuz he's a prime. You should see the way he destroyed the Fallen. Violent Shit but cool!
Was hoping for the fighting scenes to be longer and make it seem like a fairer fight. Oh well. I can't wait for Transformers 3! it had better be better than the 2 prequels!
And today! i went to Vivo City with my mum to exchange a t-shirt my aunt bought for me from Zara. Went to check out the formal wear. Saw a very stylish black tie which i bought. I was also shopping for my formal wear which i will be needing for my attachment next semester. I'm having my attachment at KPMG btw! So happy when i received the confirmation e-mail! but that means i have to wear formal attire to work everyday. except fridays, where i can dress down abit. according to what my friend told me.
Just bought a set for today. will buy more the next time. So you guys will be seeing me in formal wear more often than casual wear starting from mid october. hahaha
till then! Cya!
You only have one life. Enjoy it to the fullest. That's what im telling myself these days :)

The past week
Alright! Time for some updates. I've been very tired for the past weeks. was out like almost every day of the week and this 2 week break wasn't much of a break at all seriously.
But anyway let's take a look at what i did for the past week, from my last post.
24th may
I went for Youth Leader's Camp 2(YLC2). was a facilitator again. But this time, the facils were grouped in pairs because of the surprisingly small number of participants. my partner for the day was tee yong. and WOW. was very impressed with his wisdom and knowledge about facilitation. he had many ideas and variations on conducting some of the team building games for the secondary school kids.
And the both of us managed to handle the kids well and conduct the games quite well. and did i mention i was very impressed with his debriefing style. He always manages to relate all the learning points of the activities to life skills and lets the participants know how they can apply it to real life situations. I must say i really enjoyed the first debrief session which both tee yong and i conducted.
25th may
I pretty much slacked at home. But i had a good rest. :)
26th may
Met up with ying jia for a turkish lunch. It was supposed to be a turkish dinner scheduled for the previous night but she couldnt make it so we changed it to friday instead. So we met at bugis and walked to Alaturka Turkish Restaurant at Bussorah Street, which was near Haji Lane. The food there was not bad. But their serving was quite shocking. I was expecting a a normal sesame bread when i ordered it from the menu, but when it came, I WAS STUNNED. in front of me layed one of the biggest bread i've ever seen. Even ying jia was shocked.
So we thought there would be lots of filling in the bread. so i tried to cut it. I found out there was nothing inside but air. Disappointment but it was still quite tasty anyways, but only if you ordered it with some cold appetizers. otherwise it's just plain tasteless. :) everyother drink or food we ordered "exceeded" our expectations as well. But it was a fun experience afterall.
Then we went to town to get myself a new pair of havis. Got a gree/white one. Looks nice.
We then parted ways. She went for her manicure session while i went to school for briefing for the Pinnacle first aiders. I stayed in school that night because we had to meet very early the next day and prepare for the race. I couldn't sleep that night. Can't believe it. i was tossing and turning but yet i couldn't sleep. okay i did sleep for 15 mins. but 15MINS!! it was of no use at all.
27 May
The day of the Pinnacle. I was first stationed at the park connector at West Coast Road with shermond then redeployed back to the school swimming complex. had a great chat with him. about football, the latest movies and stuff. then one by one the racers started to run past us. saw alot of OB peeps. was cheering them on and giving them high fives to encourage them. Really admired their determination. the route was not short at all. But they made it through. at the end of the day. i was so damn tired i just wanted to lie down and sleep. :) anywhere would have been great. But i still had to attend a family gathering later in the evening. OH and i also had a short chat with one of the X-ventures peeps. Her name is Wei Ling. Saw her at the bus stop and we took 61 together since she lived at bukit merah. she was a nice girl. enjoyed the chat though it was short.
AND i finally got to see my baby nephew for the first time. The baby was so cute with his eyes closed and sleeping soundly with the puffy cheeks. LOL. his name is Ethan. Nice name i must say. Maybe i might just try to carry him and my other baby niece. the next time i see them.
Well thats all man! :)
on a seperate note, i can't wait for Attachment at KPMG. So sick of school life.
I know what those people having attachments now are gonna say, but i dont care! i just wanna experience attachments man. at least i dont have to study for tests and exams while im having attachments!

Cold weather + Cafe = Perfect
Looking at the weather now, with the strong winds blowing. I feel very chilly, but i like it actually. I just wish i am at a cafe now, enjoying a cup of Warm Caramel Macchiato and reading a book or surfing the net with a laptop.
Chilling out with friends at a cafe would be great as well :)
I just love cold weather and a cafe i guess.

Runway Cycling!!
What a way to mark the end of the weekends for me! I just went for the SAFRA Runway Cycle Challenge today with Jia Jun, Daren, Yu Heng and Wen Ting. It was a very fun experience. but maybe it was because i was too tired and the weather was too hot, thats why i didn't manage to complete the 45km Endurance Challenge. Cuz for the previous 2 days i had underwent vigorous outdoor activities. So i guess i was almost physically drained by today. Friday i had OB Training at Kismis, where i was the belayer and Saturday i had EDU Camp Recee with 16th comm.
I'm like super deadbeat by now. Ass hurts! HAHAH but still had a fun day. :)
I realized one thing though, i guess i should really start exercising even more. My stamina has been awfully low ever since the turn of the year. Shit man. and my NAPFA test is on 7 July. Fuck! gotta chiong already!
And great news! My mum told me my nephew has recovered from his viral infection. Great! Hope to see him real soon! hahaha don't know how he looks like though. LOL

OB @ KAP!
nope its not OB @ King Albert Park MAcs LOL.
its OB @ Kismis Adventure Park. There's more than one meaning for the acronym, KAP.
haha yeah we had our first ever NPOB training at Kismis Adventure Park (KAP) today. Was a different experience i must say. Even the PT was different. And for once, i didnt take the role of facil while at the park. Was an AO(Assistant Officer) today. my job was to belay those climbing up the rock wall/ or sports climbing. Was an interesting and fun experience. Belaying 4 groups of OB peeps up.
I gotta say it was tired as hell. and i suffered a few rope burns on my left hand. but it was just minor burns. luckily i brought my shades along. The sun was so glaring you couldnt believe it. Man i love my shades LOL And i would try to take a break while i can. The fatigue was building up rather quickly. But its all part and parcel of being a belayer. so yup.
I would say i had fun! :)
but sadly, my day was rather marred by the news that my 1 month old nephew had a viral infection and was sent to the hospital. was quite shocked and felt sad for my cousin who had just given birth to him a month ago. was supposed to go to my uncle's house to celebrate the 1st month of my nephew. but it was cancelled. i really hope he's fine. heard from my aunt, he had fever and had to be admitted to the hospital. The doctor is feeding him some sort of anti biotic via drips.
Really hope he's fine man. he's just a baby and doesnt need to go through all these at at such a young age.

Ghosts of Girfriend's Past
headed down to town to meet Sly for dinner. It's been a long time since i last met him and had a dinner. So we just met at Orchard MRT then proceeded down to Cineleisure to have our Dinner there. Had it at HongKong Cafe. Very satsifying dinner indeed. hahah
we spent our time just catching up with each other's lives. Sharing all the jokes that he missed when he's having attachment, while we were in school. Especially about Paulina.HAHAH. we just laugh whenever we talked about paulina. kinda sad for her really. LOL
So anyway, after dinner we just walked around cine looking to digest the rather sumptuous dinner we had. I wanted to get a new pair of Havis. but there was no more size for the design i wanted. Oh well, next time i guess. The sly suggested watching a movie. was cool with it. we were choosing between Drag Me to Hell and Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past. Decided to choose Ghosts of Girlfriend's pasts in the end cuz i read reviews about the movie saying it was not bad.
HAHA. it wasn't bad at all. Lots of funny moments. So Funny! Definitely worth watching! the way they describe those parts about flirt and sex was damn funny and lame sometimes. But it was definitely good humour.
And it really taught me that if you really like and love someone, you should really tell that someone and not hesitate or wait because you've only got one life to do it! You won't wanna be regretting it when u turn old with all the white hairs, being all alone.
Great day!
Cheers!

What a hat-trick!

Okay i was supposed to make this post yesterday, but i had quite a major headache when i got home, so i decided to take a rest from 8pm all the way till this morning. Yes wasnt feeling very well at all yesterday night.
Anyways, on monday morning i woke up to catch the FIFA Confederations Cup match between Spain and New Zealand. It was total ownage by Spain! i couldn't believe the amount of space given to Spain by the New Zealand defence. It was almost as if they were inviting Spain to attack them and score a goal everytime they got near the goal.
Needless to say, my favourite moment(s) of the match was the Hat-Trick Scored by Fernando Torres. He scored 3 goals in like 16 minutes. He made it look so easy. Guess it was a practice match for him. This further proves why he's one of the best strikers in the world and why so many clubs want to buy him.
But, Sorry guys, he wants to go nowhere but stay in Liverpool FC and he's here to stay man, so Premier League watch out. He's gonna gun for glory next season. Who knows he might just win the Golden Boot Award and a nice premier league medal to go with it :)
Fernando Torres
Liverpool's Number Nine :)

First Time at Pasir Ris Park
Just came back a few hours ago from a BBQ at Pasir Ris Park with OB peeps. It was organised by mao quan and a few others. Great Job. Had a good time talking with everyone. hahaha
AND guess what, here is one fact which i realised after going to the BBQ today.
Fact No. 1: I have had BBQs at Sentosa,West Coast Park,East Coast Park But not at Pasir Ris Park. So Yeah. this is the first time, i've been to Pasir Ris park to have a BBQ.
I have to say, the environment was not bad actually. i had a negative impression of pasir ris park before today. Had the impression that there was nothing much to do at Pasir Ris park, except to see the sea and have a normal bbq and provide free blood for mosquitoes. zzz
BUT all that changed after today, its quite a good place actually. It's near downtown east, near E Hub. So there are places to go and chill around the area. not that boring after all. yeah!
Had a good time today :)

Woah. it's been a long time.!
Finally! after a long hiatus, i've decided to continue blogging Again. This time i've decided to change blog.
Time for a change. Yeah. A Refreshing Change. My old blog was rather interesting at first. but after awhile. it just went stale, like i couldn't find the mood to enter anymore posts in my old Blog. BUT, enough of my old blog.
let's talk about my new one. Pardon me for my super Big Header. the one with Fernando Torres Sliding in joy and pride. It's really one of my favourite photos. It just shows so much emotions when he scored that winning goal in the Euro 2008 Final.
So yeah. my blog would definitely have its fair share of football stuff. but those non-football fans need not worry. There will be a healthy dose of other interesting stuff, if i can find or if i happen to experience, i'll make this blog better than my previous. So yeah.
Stay Tuned! :)
